The
communication of the kingdom is:
Jesus
Christ is coming back! He told us long ago, in Luke 17:22-37:
And
He said to the disciples, "The days shall come when you
will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and
you will not see it. And they will say to you, "Look there!
Look here!" Do not go away, and do not run after them.
For just as the lightning, when it flashes out of one
part of the sky, shines to the other part of the sky,
so will the Son of Man be in His day. But first He must
suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.
And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so it shall
be also in the days of the Son of Man: they were eating,
they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being
given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the
ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. It was
the same as happened in the days of Lot: they were eating,
they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling,
they were planting, they were building; but on the day
that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone
from heaven and destroyed them all. It will be just the
same on the day that the Son of Man is revealed.
Jesus
is coming back. He's coming back very soon. Are you ready?
Will He be pleased with you; with where you are and with
what you're doing, when He returns? We have one life to
give in return for the One given for us. What are you
doing with that life He gave you, today?
You
know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the
Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing
good, and healing all who were oppressed by the devil;
for God was with Him. (Acts 10:38)
Are
we? Are we following in our Savior's footsteps? That Jesus,
Who left us this parting assignment:.
All
authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing
them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy
Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded
you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of
the age. (Matthew 28:18-20)
Well,
brothers and sisters, when you ask Jesus Christ into your
heart, that's your call, ‘Preacher!' Usually it's the
fear of man that keeps us from that call; caring what
people think, rather than what the God who holds our next
breath thinks! The Bible warns about that kind of thinking:
Listen
to Me, you who know righteousness, a people in whose heart
is My law; Do not fear the reproach of man, neither be
dismayed at the their revilings:I, even I, am He who comforts
you. Who are you that you are afraid of man who dies,
and of the son of man who is made like grass; that you
have forgotten the Lord your Maker, who stretched out
the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth, that
you fear continually all day long because of the fury
of the oppressor, as he makes ready to destroy? But where
is the fury of the oppressor? The exile will soon be set
free, and will not die in the dungeon, nor will his bread
be lacking. For I am the Lord your God, who stirs up the
sea and its waves roar and I have put My words in your
mouth, and have covered you with the shadow of My hand,
to establish the heavens, to found the earth, and to say
to Zion, "You are My people." (Isaiah 51:7-read on, it's
great!)
For
He Himself has said, "I will never desert you, nor will
I ever forsake you," so that we confidently say, "The
Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What shall man
do to me?" Remember those who led you, who spoke the word
of God to you; and considering the result of their conduct,
imitate their faith. JESUS CHRIST IS THE SAME YESTERDAY
AND TODAY, YES AND FOREVER! (Hebrews 13:5-8)
It's
time to be about our Father's business:.meeting needs
and healing hurts.
Jesus
said, "Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the
sheep. All who came before Me are thieves and robbers,
but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door; if anyone
enters through Me, he shall be saved, and shall go in
and out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal,
and kill, and destroy; I came that they might have life,
and might have it abundantly. I am the good shepherd;
the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. (John
10:7-11)
Do
we have that abundant life Jesus spoke of? Why not? It's
there! All who will, may come! Peter was very clear to
his listeners in Acts 3:19
Repent
therefore and return, that your sins may be wiped away,
in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence
of the Lord.
So,
will we do what our Lord did? To be great, will we follow
in the footsteps of the one with nail prints in His hands?
Jesus
said, "Whoever wishes to become great among you shall
be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first among
you shall be your slave; just as the Son of Man did not
come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life
a ransom for many." (Matthew 20:25-28)
Oh
man, oh woman, it's time to get serious about the King
of kings and the Lord of lords.
Jesus
said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life;
no one comes to the Father, but through Me." (John 14:6)
Jesus
also said, "And why do you call
Me, ‘Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say?" (Luke 6:46)
Who
is standing in God's place in your life today? It's time
to get right while we still can. Jesus is coming back
for a spotless bride. We got new mercies this morning;
we got another chance to do it right! Isn't obedience
always the dividing issue? If you've lost your peace,
go back to that place where you stopped, repent, forgive
and go on, FREE!
Paul
said, do not be deceived; "Bad
company corrupts good morals." (I Corinthians 15:33)
Jesus
said,
"For nothing is hidden that shall not become evident,
nor anything secret that shall not be known and come to
light. Therefore take care how you listen, for whoever
has, to him shall more be given; and whoever does not
have, even what he thinks he has shall be taken away from
him." (Luke 8:17-18)
Who's
voice are you heeding today? There are many voices in
the land, but only one VOICE.
Jesus
said, "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they
follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they shall
never perish; and no one shall snatch them out of My hand.
My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all;
and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's
hand. I and the Father are one." (John 10:27-30)
I
ask you to read Matthew 10 today and receive His call
on your life. It's time to lead, follow or get out of
the way! It's time to read the book and do what it says!
Let's do the things He left us here to do:those things
Jesus did.
"Go
report to John what you have seen and heard: the blind
receive sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed
and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, the poor have
the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he who keeps
from stumbling over Me." (Luke 7:22-23)
Awake,
sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine
on you. Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise
men, but as wise, making the most of your time, because
the days are evil. So then do not be foolish, but understand
what the will of the Lord is. (Ephesians 5:14-17)
Be blessed. Read the Book and do what it says. Go free,
whatever the cost to do the passion God put in your heart
for Him:Reach, preach and teach until ALL know!
"The
ministry of the sword and salve--a ministry that is making
a difference in the Body of Christ!
We pray that God will visit your life with a joy that
comes only from a personal walk with Jesus Christ. It
is our desire to get out of the way and usher God's children
into His presence, where unhindered and unhampered, their
needs are met. This 'Sword and Salve' ministry to the
body through both the Word and song is anointed for BREAKTHROUGH'S
